Chicago's North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau (CNSCVB) has joined forces with North Shore Live!, a consortium of six local professional equity theatres, to promote top-notch performing arts on Chicago's North Shore. The two groups will work together to increase visibility of these locally-based organizations while also promoting upcoming productions. "The incredible amount of theatre performances on the North Shore - many in the same caliber of the big-name theatres downtown - sets us apart from other areas," says Gina Speckman, CNSCVB Executive Director. "Our theatres aren't truly ‘local' in that they're artistic forces in the Chicago and national cultural scene as well. We're looking forward to publicizing their upcoming productions to visitors, as well as to residents."
